The Gem Theatre first opened its doors in 1927. Built with the styling of Spanish Architecture, it's a beautiful building that's open for events and can fill a capacity of up to 450 people.
We recently visited this Detroit venue while attending TEDxDetroit 2012. The event venue was flexible, providing a great view for everyone inside the theatre. The rooms located on the second story allowed for an easy set up for the tables and booths.
